Bidding on a Foreclosed home - Zillow Real Estate Advice

Hi, I am at a HUD home that is listed at 79,000 but the market value is closer to 135,000. My?Realtor?told me that the listing agent posted the property at a low price in order to get interest in the property. Is there a good way to decide what to bid on the property in order to have a good chance of winning.?
