Screen sizes for android app

Hi all!

I was part of developing an app some time ago and had no idea how screen sizes work on various android phones. You can check this app here:

I worked on UI and navigation more, i tried my best to make it better and it was my first android app. But, checking it on various phones gave me mixed results and was not looking like it should be.

Any information on this issue is very much appriciated as i am planning to make an another app soon.
