Currently, the Department of Exercise Science, Health Studies, Physical Education and Sport Management is seeking a chairperson at the associate or full professor level to join our team. Qualifications include an earned doctorate in any relevant field with significant leadership experience in higher education and/or professional organizations and demonstrated accomplishments as a scholar and teacher. Responsibilities include department leadership, mentoring of faculty, support for scholarship and grant funded initiatives, scheduling and program development, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses. Commitment to collaboration is important. Interest in online learning and integration of technology into teaching is encouraged. As members of the faculty, appointees will be expected to contribute to the teaching, service and scholarship of the School.
